Super pissed off by Nissan

I just leased a Nissan 2017 Rogue Sport from Tustin Nissan in California. The car has a issue of the screen blanking out on and off when I driving it, and it happened 6 times in 2 months. I drove back to the dealership, and they said they can not duplicate the problem, and told me I have to call nissan usa corp. One of the nissan consumer affairs representative called me and said their "engineers" are saying the can may not has any issue and there might be some issue with my phone which is not compatible with the car bluetooth. My phone is iphone 6s plus. Then he said I have to go back the dealership for further assistance. What I am feeling right now they are just trying to drop the ball to others, and no one wants to take responsibility. I am just a customer who just bought a new car, and all I need is just a car with no issue. I just want someone who can solve the problem for me. I do not want get fooled.

Very disappointing

Bought a Rogue in Sept. good salesperson. Did not really like it was wanting to trade for late used car. My salesman and I had appointment. He was unable to keep it. My daughter drove 120 miles to help feeling that I may be taken advantage of. We let the next salesman help us, he was new, explained the payment I would need and we wanted a used car. He only showed me one brandnew. The finance guy came in with $100 over what we had asked for a payment and then offered 7 thousand less that what I payed 3 months before. So I would lose my trade in my down payment and 7 less that my costs, He did not want to even me my keys back! it was like take it or leave it. I would have paid 8000 at a loss in 3 months Will not buy another car at the Cookeville tn Nissan

Bad CVT Transmission

My 2007 Altima was brought into the Nissan dealerwith 121,000 miles on it on 03/29/2012 . We were experiencing the telltale signs of a CVT transmission going down. Prior to this asset going to your Cool Springs facility it was taken to a repair shop and 4 quarts of transmission fluid was drained and 4 quarts was replaced and it made no difference. We were told to take it to a Nissan dealer right away which was done. After arrival a service writer at your location called to inform me that the transmission fluid was not touching the dipstick. After I explained and sent the receipt for 6 quarts of transmission fluid (only 4 was needed for refill) that was purchased from Nashville Nissan he changed his mind and said it was touching. Kevin, 2 techs and I all checked that transmission fluid and it was fine after cycling the transmission through several cycles and a drive around the block. Then we were informed of some disturbing practices. We of course ask for coverage on the 1700 miles past normal warranty due in part of the reoccurring issue and the fact that we have purchased the extended warranty when the car was initially purchased. (by the way this is our 2nd Nissan product) The service writer then stated since we had not brought our Nissan into a Nissan facility there was no leniency on the small amount of miles our vehicle is over. On Friday a young lady (CSR) called and left a message around 4.45pm and I immediately called her back only to get voicemail and I of course left a message. That brings me to today. We have been without a vehicle since 03/29/2012 and have still not resolve on if Nissan is going to cover it under warranty or if I am on my own. I apologize for involving you but I am in need of your help.

NISSAN Ignores Issue with Catalytic Converters

Definite issue with catalytic converters. Own a 2006 Nissan Quest, at 54,000 miles dealer replaced catalytic converter under warranty. Currently have just under 95,000 miles and the exact same catalytic converter (bank 1) needs replacing AGAIN only this time we do not fall under the 80,000 mi warranty. Contacted Nissan to request they compensate us for the 2nd failure of this part within 40,000 miles of the last failure. NO GO!!!! VERY RUDE case manager misinformed us several times that we were 99 months past the vehicle warranty...the (3yr/36,000 -yes) but not the (8yr/80,000) standard emissions warranty. Admittedly we are also past the standard emissions warranty, but not by 99 months and not to mention that warranty should have held up for the original part that we already had to replace...to be 15,000 miles past the warranty and be required to replace the part for a second time ($2,000) is incredibly frustrating and indicates glaring issue with the catalytic converter. This matter needs a recall or class action lawsuit.

Nissan Altima is having similar issues with cvt and I know another person too. They refused to buy back my car awhile back and I corporate and service act like they don’t know what the issue is even about when I described it but I recently discovered that nissan had a class action regarding this same issue on another couple models so I am convinced they know about this issue with the altimas.

If you notify corporate and the attorney general and enough of us so it then maybe they will act but until then please be careful.

This issue has led to me almost killing my family due to the inability to accelerate when needed. Nissan will most likely delay dealing with this until another class action lawsuit.

Meridee Dux

got same issue with Nissan Murano faulty CVT. Still awaiting to hear anything from Nissan for last 2 years.

No luck. Dont know what they are thinking about, but the chance I will buy Nissan again is very low.

I was much happier with Toyota, Subaru and Mitsubishi. Those car producers care more about their customers.

Transmission

My transmission went out twice in the first 34,000 miles, and second time was 500 miles from home, on vacation, and after it was repaired, Nissan customer service refused to help with transporting vehicle back to my home and my rental beyond 5 days is not covered and other expenses, lost work, motel, etc. have not been covered thus far retrieving my car from Nissan service where it broke down. A real disappointment, as I like the vehicle. Nissan service at local dealers have been kind, national Nissan customer service deserves to be advoided however . boycott Nissan everyone until they fix transmission issues

Nissan Altima- Issue with the CVT

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I have 2 Nissan vehicles in my household. My newest vehicle is the 2009 Nissan Altima (I bought brand new). I have done a very low mileage and within 8 years and when the mileage reached approximately 135,000 km, I experienced a noise in the car. Upon giving to the dealer in the UAE to check it was reported that the problem existed in my gear box and was a CVT issue. All scheduled maintenance was conducted by Al Masaood the authorized dealer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. I ensured that all services were conducted by them even after the warranty period and invested on spare parts whenever advised to be changed. Unfortunately, the dealer did not agree to replace the gear box but wanted me to pay an amount (higher than the vehicle value) to replace the part. I contacted the Nissan Middle East, but was of no help as they said that only a repair could be done for the gear box and that too there was no warranty provided for the work despite an amount that I had to invest for the repair. I have now given up and have decided not to buy a Nissan model anymore. Further, I advise any new buyer on not buy Nissan. That's the least I could do from my end.

CVT Transmission failure @ 25k miles Won't honor warranty

2015 Nissan Sentra with 25k miles, Nissan won't honor warranty. Transmission is leaking from gasket.

While accelerating, vehicle was erratically fluctuating RPM's, kept jumping from 3rd to 4th gear with high RPM's. Took it in to Modesto Nissan, they will not honor warranty per lack of fault codes. Dealer requested to wash engine bay, and drive back to personal residence with my vehicle accumulating more than 200 miles.

The service adviser John stated this is a known issue and he had 2 months of backlogged CVT transmissions. What the service adviser is suggesting, would exceed the duration of my warranty, Nissan knowingly sold me a substandard product that they will not stand behind.

Was lied to and had my $5000 down payment taken and was forced to get a vehicle I did not want

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I put $5000 down on a gmc yukon that my wife wanted and liked. It was suppose to have a 12 month warranty. After about 18 days it started acting funny plus the people we bought the vehicle from were calling us and telling us that the paper work we gave them that they said would work at the time of the purchase would not work we took the vehicle in and they told us the transmission was out and the warranty does not cover it plus out financing had fell through and would not finance it but we could buy something else and could not get out down payment back unless we payed four grand for the transmission in the yukon and the only vehicles we could choose from were three vehicles they had that nobody probably wanted. So we had to pay over recommended sale price which we also brought up to this matt person who didn't care cause he already had our money and we pretty much had to buy something there or loose four thousand dollars. So we paid too much for something we don't want

Pissed off Nissan Lover

Today is June 10,2017 1:30pm I have a 2009 Nissan I went to start my car up and it would not start up. There was a light flashing of a car with a key in it. I went to google to research the symptoms my car was showing. I tried everything that I read to fix the problem no avail. I then googled Nissan Altima starting problem. Which I came across a recall. I found the problem, now the only problem is my car wouldn't start for me to get it to a dealership. I called my local Nissan dealership in countryside,IL. Now I'm pissed because they don't offer a tow service and I'm broke. So I make phone calls and come up with the tow money. I make it to the dealership.. Great my car will get fixed... To my surprise they do not give Loaner cars.. ok now I am pissed because my car is broke down and I have no way to get to work or school all because of a manufacturer malfunction. I should be compensated a loaner car for my lost of my car due to a malfunction of manufacturing error.. This is not right and it needs to be corrected. LOANER Vehicles should be given to consumers whose vehicles are in service for Recall.. This has really inconvenienced me! #pissednissanlover

Nissan Service Not doing their job

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I bought my Nissan Almera in Dec 2013. From day one i told their consultant about noise at the door till now never solve the problem. The worse case happen to be sterring Rack issue. I sent in my car to the service centre almost 10 times before they decided to replace it ( It take almost 1 year). I just wonder are they really replace it with original Genuine part?? Because after few months the same problem resurface again. Another surprise was during changing auto transmission oil. When mechanic ask why only 2 litre auto transmission oil from the gearbox. (Standard 5.4 litres). alexcce@***.com
