2015 Nissan Rogue

1.0
Details
Blind Spot warning fails. I have provided a video and have taken their mechanic out while it was failing, but Nissan won't fix the problem. Dealership says that Nissan requires them to catch the problem with their computer attached. Dealership had vehicle 3 days and took Rogue for several short test drives, but could not duplicate. Nissan then calls me and tells me that I need to drive the service manager around until it fails, make a 2nd video of it failing or that I need to take it to another dealership 60 minutes from where I live to see if they can find the problem or they can't help me. I have provided a 1 video, I have had a Nissan mechanic visually see the failure, but I've got to continue to prove that it fails, even though nothing has been done to resolve the problem. At that point I asked to have that in writing, Nissan Corporate refused to put it in writing.

Rusted under carriage and caused brake line issues. Car was very well cared for and the brakes cost $4000 to repair, really? This should be a recall because of rusting since this is a know issue with Nissan. I loved my pathfinder and the brake line being exposed due...

I see you don't bother telling us where you are from. A rusty undercarriage is not grounds for a recall. It happens.

Nissan in Cebu City, Cebu - Deffective cooling fan clutch

My np300navarra was still 4 months old with 10,200km distance travelled, got overheat, due to almost dry of silicon oil inside the fan clutch, I decided to return the unit. I called and send email for the complain but it's been almost 20days from the time I reported the incident , nothing happened, if ever I call to the distributor they just say " we send email to the plant, but no update yet" I was so upset. It happened last January we were about to go to navarra center for scheduled maintenance when it losses it's acceleration, so we park nearby , and smoke coming from engine, and temperature gauge point to extremely high without any warning, we wait for almost 3 hours before adding water to the radiator, then decided to go back home and reported the same by calling to the distributor. Nissan technician arrived maybe 6 days from the event and check the unit and found out its almost dry of silicon oil, so they added 7 tubes of silicon oil out of ten tubes they brought.

Nissan Bahrain (Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons) refusing extended warranty

1.0
Details
Nissan Bahrain sold me a brand new Pathfinder last year, got an extended warranty to cover up to five years. Moved to Dubai and now the Bahrain dealer is telling me that the extended warranty is only valid for Bahrain!! Nissan is not a Bahrain based company, it's a global company which should respect the rights of its clients and if i bought an extended warranty, it should be honored in the GCC and not only in Bahrain. Instead of having a one dollar store mentality, the company should have some self respect instead of pinching its clients for the sake of some miserly dollars. Pathetic.

There is a recall for it. Call any dealer and inform them, they'll set up an appointment for you.

Nissan Car Review

Failed transmission, radiator and issues with catalytic converter. ECM fail had to research to find recall! Nissan is dangerous to own, expensive to fix. Buy any other brand you can. Look up complaints against Nissan. No resolution for known issues!

BRAND NEW NISSAN PATHFINDER HAS DEFECTIVE TIRES

I purchased a brand new Nissan Pathfinder for $43,000 and have had several issues: The front seat tracking was defective so I took in in for replacement at 8,700 miles and after only 4 car payments and left it there over night. Five days after picking it up I had a low tire. I stopped to air it up and noticed a defect on the tire and then looked at the other tires. My tires had low tread and the one tire had what is called a "HEAT RING". Nissan ignored my complaints and I had to replace that tire. Another tire keeps losing air. THE TREAD ON THESE TIRES ARE TOO LOW FOR 8,7000 miles of driving. I filed a police report thinking my tires were switched while my vehicle was there overnight. The tires are Continental Cross Contact LX Sport and have a 2 star rating! AND NO WARRANTY. I'M PISSED THAT NISSAN PUTS *** TIRES ON A $43,000 VEHICLE!!!!! MY ANTENNA ALSO DOESN'T WORK IT KEEPS ROAMING THROUGH STATIONS AS I DRIVE THROUGH TOWN! Nissan did not fix this either!

Nissan Dealer Screws Loyal Customer

2.2
Details
Well, I just got off the phone with Megan in the Midwest customer service office for Nissan (615-725-7119) who told me my 2012 (purchased in 2013, new from the dealer) Nissan Armada Platinum didn't "qualify" for out of warranty help when my AC/Heat motor went out....with only 40,000 miles. Now see, this is exactly the type of poor customer service that turns a loyal customer into an avid "basher" of a brand. Consider this: It's a $50,000 vehicle, with only 40,150 miles on it. I think we can all agree that the blower motor for the heat (especially the front defrost!) is pretty important and should last more than 2 winters of ownership. The vehicle is meticulously maintained and always garaged. They now want to charge me over $550 (with diagnostic fee) to replace it. I have 5 children who, sorry, just want to be warm when when they ride to school and it's a majorly dangerous thing that as it gets cold and snow, that we can't defrost the front windshield. This is one of those things that these service people never understand. Why don't they take into consideration everything to do with the situation. "hey, this guy has been a loyal customer. He's got a bunch of kids and they have a lot of cars left to buy in their life. The car is an expensive car that should have heater work longer than 2 winters. We can do something to meet-them-halfway". That would have been right, fair and kept us loyal. Now we see EXACTLY WHY Consumer Reports gives them such low customer satisfaction ratings. We didn't see that until AFTER we bought this Nissan and quite frankly, we didn't understand why they were given such low ratings. But you know what? They EARN those low ratings. I can't believe we bought a vehicle with this kind of track record from a company like Nissan. LESSON LEARNED. - JM
