Nissan won't pay for new engine on leased vehicle

Please think twice before buying a Nissan. I leased a Maxima and Nissan has refused to honor the warranty contract- costing me thousands of dollars in repairs. Their Consumer Affairs department has been unethical and uncooperative for almost 4 months as I've tried to get my repairs covered under the warranty that is currently in place. I have been bounced around from department to department. And just today I found out that the dealership took apart my engine at the direction of Nissan but now they will not put it back together. I had to threaten to call the police just to get them to put it back together. Please do not support this business.

Floor Rust Nissan Altima 2005

My 2005 passenger side floor is rusting through. My daughter and neighbor also had the same problem in the same exact spot on a 2002 and 2005 Altima. Obviously there is a flaw in the design of these cars since much older cars don't have this much rust. Nissan should stand behind their cars and recall for this reason. I have an inspection due and am sure it will not pass. There has to be a number to call to start a recall, if anyone knows of one or the President or CEO's name please post to this site.

Getting mugged by Nissan.

Google Nissan Xterra transmission and you'll post after post of an obvious poorly designed cooling system that leaks coolant into the transmission and kills it. Costing the poor sap several thousand dollars to fix. The SOB's at Nissan know this and have done nothing to correct the issue. I have wanted a yellow Xterra for 10 years, finally got it a few years back, and now I'm *** With the numerous posts, it's clearly a fatal flaw to this vehicle, not to mention the *** they have working for them at their garages who, for weeks, passed off my complaints and put a band-aid on a chest wound. Well Nissan you got my money and I guess as long as you get paid, you have no reason to man up and stand behind your product.

Nissan in Washington, District Of Columbia - Known Defect on 2004 Maximas

My transmission along with a few other electrical problems started going wrong with my maxima after researching the internet I saw that there is a known problem with that year transmissions why hasnt there been a recall yet? I love my car but not the price to repair a known problem . This really needs to be addressed and fixed there are a lot of loyal customers that would have reconsidered buying that year if this was known you need to put a recall out on this problem look out for your customers we look out by buying from you so?

Nissan copied Toyota's commercials

Nissan why don't you think outside the box you bunch of lazy hacks. Your new commercials are identical to Toyota's obviously exaggerated but entertaining footage showing what the truck could do under extreme weather conditions. This isnt a problem isolated to Nissan. Every commercial on television is another ***. These suits sit in a board room and watch the innovators commercials and then copy them after which the buyer is so *** that he or she mistakes either for and buys perhaps the truck that they thought was the Toyota. I owned a Toyota Tacoma, not a *** *** Nissan... Nuff Said

Nissan in Rancho Cucamonga, California - Given Wrong Information and now I am liaible

My 2009 Nissan Maxima would not start so I called the Cerritos Nissan and asked for service. I explain that there was a key that lite up in the dash and the car won't start and I needed a tow. They informed me to stick the key in the slot was on the left side on the dash. When I located it, I stuck the key into the slot. But the car still did not start and now I could not get the key out. I was towed to the dealer they took the key out of the slot and then said that I was not suppose to put the key in the slot they meant to put the remote control into the slot. They looked at the damages and told me I had to pay approx $800.00 to fix it. I asked why was I liaible when they told me to stick the key into the slot. I filed a claim with Nissan and they did nothing. The mechanic blatantly lied to save his ***. He said I tried to follow the manual. Why would I need the manual when I'm calling them asking for help. This is my sixth Nissan I can't believe that I was treated like that. I will not ever buy another Nissan or recommend Nissan to anybody.

Nissan in Greensboro, North Carolina - Car id/horrible

i had ordered a billet grill for my 2010 nissan sentra .when it came in the grill was bent but we had fixed it .. and once we got it in the car we realized it was 3 inches short on each side of the grill . then i had called and told "Anthony" (which was a joke). and he said take the pics, and he never emailed me back on the photos i had sent.. so he emailed me a sheet showing SPECIFIC instructions on how to return it.. which was a joke because it was so specific it made you not even want return it! but i followed the directions and even put more peanuts in the box to make sure nothing would happen.. i shipped it off 1/13/2011.. well i had not seen my money hit the bank for the return so called the reps. and i they did not even know what was going on until they talked to Anthony , he said he had emailed me pics. back with all the scrathes on it . which when i had it for the 24 hrs.. i didnt put any scrtaches on it cause it took 2 secs. to realize that it was the wrong grill.. but in the end he would refund my money!! please dont waste you time with these people ..

Nissan Key problem!

If you lose your key to a Nissan vehicle it will cost you $400.00 to get it replaced! That is the total bill for key, transmitter, towing bill (Vehicle has to be on premises) and re-programming fee and taxes! This same 2010 Nissan Cube blew a transmission out at 30,000 miles. The dealer made it good and provided a loaner but it kind of makes you wonder if it will do it again. The CVT Transmissions are extremely loud and probably an ill conceived or at least a pre-mature technology. Our modern advancements has taken a key for your car from $1.89 to $400.00. I will never buy another Nissan again!
