Scamed at nissan dealer

The dealership finance department added $2,000 of extended warranty that i told them idid not want or need on the Nissan Sentra i purchase under the pretence of reduceing the interest rate from 8 to 4% after i told him i would not pay 8% interest rate. He knew i would read the paper before signing, because i told him this was taking to long, and that i need to get going. After noticeing the problem i called the owner and general manager, i was told he was out of the office and was directed to leave him a message. No responce,I wil NEVER buy another Nissan

Nissan 2006 transmission fail

My Nissan PF 2006 is been sitting in my garrage for the past 6 months, the transmission is not shifting, I have to pay someone to either rebuild or put a brand new transmission in, I'm a single mother and I can't afford it... so i'm putting money together to get this done... Nissan should be responsable for this issue. I would never buy another Nissan ever and I'm also advising my friends and family not to buy nissan's any more, i always thought that I will have a car that will last me over 200,000 miles but I was wrong, I'm so dissapointed of this brand car.

2008 Nissan Rogue Needs New Engine?!

I bought a used 2008 Nissan Rogue on July 4, 2012 from Nissan of McKinney in McKinney, TX. My mom recommended I go there because she had purchased a vehicle from them 3 weeks prior, and was told she would receive a free car payment if she recommended someone to their dealership. They screwed her out of her free car payment, saying I did not put enough money down on my vehicle! After having the vehicle for about a week, I notice that when I start it in the afternoons (when it's well above 100* outside) white smoke is coming out of the exhaust pipe. I called the dealership, and they told me they would need to look at it, but it's not an emergency. Just a few days ago (I've had the car for less than 30 days at this point) I noticed my oil light was flickering on my way to work. I checked the oil, and it's EMPTY. No leak under the car and everything is clean under the hood. I took it the dealership the next morning, wait around for about an hour for a rental car, and get a call around 5pm. They have to replace the engine and catalytic converter!! LUCKILY I fought for the extended warranty that they charged me for from the beginning... (When I went to sign paperwork, the finance guy said "there's no warranty". That's a different story.) It's been one thing after another, and at this point I'm ready to tell them to keep it. I'm BEYOND pissed.

Nissan Pathfinder 2006

Purchased my Nissan pathfinder brand new in 2006, cash with an extended warranty up to 100,000 miles. Now my vehicle just passed the 100 k miles and my transmission is full of coolant fluid. Same issue reported by so many others. Nearly got killed when my car stalled in the middle of the highway with my 3 boys in the car. Nissan hasn't responded to my request, they are evaluating the issue. But now the dealer wants to sell me a new car at employee cost?........ I'm trying to find out if Nissan has done anything to help you fix this problem or do most of you got ignored? Not waisting my time with them, going straight to a lawyer and consumer reports with this ignored defect by Nissan.

2008 Nissan Rogue S engine failure and replacement

I purchased a 2008 Nissan Rogue S brand new. It is only four years old but in the last month the A/C stopped working. In the last week the vehicle had to be towed to a dealer cause it stalled in the middle of the road. I have no extended warranty and no help from Nissan. I am so disappointed and stressed out. The dealership is quoting me $5,700 for the engine and an extra $1,700 for the A/C. Is it worth $7,400 to repair? I don't know what to do :( I'm open for suggestions!

Nissan Corp refuses to share key codes w/ owners & dealers--WHY???

I have called Corporate Nissan customer service on 3 separate occasions trying to get a key code for a '94 300ZX that I just purchased from a private party. Because the car came with only one key, which is badly worn, I need a new factory key to be able to use all doors and the trunk. While they can easily access that information based on my VIN number, their "policy" forbids them to divulge a key code to the owner of the vehicle, and they also refuse to provide any assistance to my local Nissan dealer. Since the car is over 10 years old, the key code info is not on the dealer's database. Corporate Nissan says it's a security issue. WTF????? Why does Corporate Nissan keep such a database if they won't use the information for the benefit of their customers and dealers?? I have owned Nissans for over 30 years, but if this is how they "support" their customers and dealers, it will be the last one I ever buy. I'm not through with this yet--I plan to call them every day until it is resolved and I also plan to file a complaint with the Federal Transportation Administration--having a working key to my car is a safety issue and they are violating my rights as a consumer by refusing me important information regarding the safe operation of my vehicle. Customer service is apparently an oxymoron with Nissan Corporation!!

Nissan in Newark, New Jersey - Promised recomandation checks. Never received one!

Nissan Dealer on 56 Route 22, Hiilside, New Jersey advertizes recomandation checks of one monthly payment. I brought my friends and my daughter to the dealer but never received any checks! They took my information and told me that I'll get two checks but I never receive them. On the top of everything they overcharged my daughter and insulted my wife. The sales man told me that my wife doesn't care about those checks. My wife called him and ask why he has lied he got mad and told her "*** you". We bought cars in that dealer last year and we were happy. Now they changed their clocation and we delt with differente people. The buillding is new but with people you can't trust. I thought that repeating customers are valuble customers but not in that dealership. It's ok for them to insult customer and lie to their faces. Very unproffetional! Stay away!!!

Nissan sold me a defective/dangerous car

Bought my Cube in 7/09, just 3 1/2 months later car had problems stalling, no response when pushing on gas pedal, then excelled on it's own, slowed down, just stopped while driving it& thought my daughter & I were going to be killed in the car when it stopped during the peak traffic in the pouring rain. Learned transmission was bad, now happened again 3rd transmission haven't owed 3 yrs yet. Nissan will not replace car and says it's safe, I fear for our lives since there is NO warning lights when it happens, very scared for our lives. Asked Nissan North America Corp to help make us feel safe, they just want to extend the warranties but cannot prove to us what is causing this car to do this. It is very DANGEROUS when it happens but you have to control on what the car will do wants it starts to happen. We are willing to trade the car for a new car and want Nissan to compensate some of the cost. They seem to NOT care about us as a hard working Military Family, keeping money in their pocket is more important. NO care should be on it's 3rd transmission in less than 3 years. Any advice would be greatly appreciated or HELP
