2004 Nissan Maxima excelleration

I was driving into the parking lot of my church. Slowly pulled my car into the parking space and it accelerated and crashed into the church office. Body shop has repaired car and am about to go pick it up but am apprehensive about driving it. Nissan said they cannot find anything wrong with the car. The car has less than 50,000 miles, never been in an accident. Insurance company is being very helpful, but feel that Nissan has the blame and needs to take responsibility for a defect in the car. Will keep you posted on what happens next.

On October 10, 2012 the power tilt in the steering column started malfunctioning in my 2009 Nissan Maxima. This is a safety issue. The column has the potential to move while in motion, and in my case would move into the far down position every time I turned on the car....

NISSAN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE!

My 2007 xterra has a faulty fuel sending unit plug that has started to melt, which can cause a fire to start in my gas tank or cause my car to break down. This is not a wear and tear item, it is a manufacturer's defect. Because it was not a recalled part, nissan says I'm fully responsible. Makes me sick to my stomach that they will not take responsibility for this. I can't afford to repair it, so hopefully my car won't catch fire while I'm driving it. Nissan corporate office employees…you are heartless and only care about the bottom line…not the safety and well being of your customers. I will never buy nissan again just for the terrible customer service and the wretched disregard for their customer's safety. Shame on you! epayson@gmail.com

Nissan in Johannesburg, Gauteng - Andre at Billson truck center Port Elizabeth made my driver wait 2 hrs just for a price on a part

We phoned Andre @ Nissan (Billson Truck center) In Port Elizabeth for a price on a part he said we must send our Nissan Cabstar in rather then he could check it and give us a price on the part we wanted. We then took our driver out of his schedule and sent him to Billson's ONLY TO HAVE MY DRIVER WAIT 2 HOURS TO NO AVAIL. I EVENTUALLY TOLD MY DRIVER TO COME BACK BECAUSE MY DELIVERIES WERE PILING UP. ALL WE NEEDED IS A PRICE!!!!!!!! THEN WE PHONED ANDRE AND HE NEVER APPOLOGIESED OR ANYTHING HE JUST SAID OWE YOUR DRIVER HAS GONE. AND THAT HE WOULD PHONE US BACK JUST NOW WITH A PRICE WE STILL WAITING. THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE HAD ABSOLUTLEY PERTHETIC SERVIVICE FROM NISSAN PORT ELIZABETH!!!! I BOUGHT TWO TRUCKS FROM THEM PREVOUISLY IN 2003 AND 2004 AND THEIR AFTER SALES SERVICE WAS ABSOLUTLEY SHOCKING. i vowed then never to go back and I wouldn't have had it been that someone else in Port Elizabeth been able to give me the part that I needed. I will never ever ever recommend NISSAN!!!!!!!

I too have had both a 2002 and a 2005 nissan altima, and both had the same problem of the under floor rusting out on the passenger side. It is amazing that Nissan have not addressed the problem as there have been many complaints. If anyone knows of any compensation...

Santa Fe, NM NISSAN Dealer DECEITFUL

On my summer trip driving from PHoenix, AZ to Colorado I had overheating problems. I pulled into the dealership in Santa Fe New Mexico and was told I needed a transmission flush and new battery. Then the manager came back and told me that my CVT was probably bad and it might still overheat. He couldn't promise when he'd have it fixed and suggested that it could be 3 weeks. I asked if I could drive it. He said, yeah, just pull over if it over heats. The car broke down and I had to be towed 110 miles to the Nissan Dealership in Pueblo, Co. Nissan refuses to pay back the charges or even talk to the dealer for me. What makes me really angry is that I filed the claim in July 2012 and today, Sept. 20, 2012 I got the message. "You have to work through the individual dealer to get compensation." I am angry because they could have told that to me in July-3 months ago!!! Wasted my time on the phone and faxing papers. Wasted my energy with a false hope of some kind of remuneration. Nissan is DECEITFUL!

I have a 2008 Nissan Armada SUV, that I have had from new. It has relatively high mileage (115,000), of which maybe 200 has been gentle off road. A couple of days ago my wife was driving the car on a freeway with my two daughters in the car and the overhead console...

Nissan refuses to honor warranty 2011 Sentra

After talking with Michael 457259 at Nissan customer service, he refuses to replace my door side moldings that are pealing off or repai the defective ones. My car is 18 mos old and babied. There is no reason moldings are coming off other than defective tape. Below is the letter I wrote Nissan before I was turned down for this and silver hubcaps turning brown. I wish I'd died before spending money on a french car made in mexico! TO NISSAN bought a Nissan Sentra from Fife Nissan Dec., 2011. Among a list of other things I took my car in because the body side moldings (ding preventers) are starting to peal off. Fife Nissan refused to fix them saying "if the moldings come MORE loose than what they are, then warranty may apply at the same time telling me to my face that they wern't coming off. I unintentionally got into an argument with the service writer for belittling my displeasure and the gen. mgr. butted in. He only made it worse. Today, Sunday morning, I was awoken by a call from the Fife Police saying that the mgr has accused me of spitting on him. Being a disabled 64 yr old man, I hesitate to spit on many people, especially if they are 25 years younger than me and healthy. This never happened but he certainly refered to some religious items in my car as "phony religious junk and started insulting my faith because I was upset over my car. I am so mad right now I think of spending the rest of my life writing and talking of the treatment I received from one of your dealers. I fully intended to buy one of the new Altimas but that's certainly on hold now. What do you intend to do? False police reports are a crime and also one may sue civilly. I've suggested that someone review security tapes and perhaps a lie detector test for each of us. This guy shouldn't be working in the public eye. A true manager would have defused the situation rather than jump in and make it ten times worse. And then lie to the police, he is as low as they go. Please contact me as I intend to occupy the corner by Fife Nissan and HAVE A SANDWICH BOARD SIGN TELLING EVERY POTENTIAL CUSTOMER BEWARE.
