Nissan GPS Technology package

Purchased a new 2012 Nissan Armada with Technology, Navigation package. Not able to use GPS in our area of Manitoba & Saskatchewan Canada with voice guidance, also tried in North Dakota and was a big waste of time. Information/maps in Nissan GPS is minimal and of little use ! The dealer and Nissan were notified and know of the problem and have gave us the run around. Should have did more research into how good their GPS is ,previously owned GM and worked good. Bought a Garmin Nu-vi for $ 80.00 with lifetime map updates, works perfect. Don't waste your money with Nissan GPS navigation package.

2013 Nissan Pathfinder Transmission Shot 4644 Kms!

The transmission fluid hose came loose, drained the fluid and seized the transmission. Now it will be a 4 week wait to get parts to repair the problem. I paid almost $50,000 for a new 2013 Pathfinder and one month later, I'm driving a smoked in Kia Sorrento rental for a month. Further, I'm not sure what other damage has been done. I want my money back and will tell anyone to reconsider before buying a 2013 Pathfinder. The dealer is playing good guy bad guy with Nissan corporate. I am caught in the middle. What's wrong with this picture? I would have expected a lot more from Nissan.

2006 Nissan pathfinder

I bought a 2006 Nissan pathfinder New from dealer. I had no Idea I would end up with a piece of defective ***. I will never buy another Nissan ever. The transmission/radiator issue should be recalled. What a joke. I think I will get some of my money back from taking it to the scrap yard. I haven't dealt with the dealership or company yet. I have 94,000 miles on the vehicle and just returned home from a 5 hour trip feeling the vibration and vehicle rumbling when slowing to a stop. I immediately checked the internet to get an idea what could be causing all of this. WOW, I couldn't imagine that all of these people describing the same issues. My sympathy goes out to all of those people with the same issues. I really don't see the point fixing something that will never be fixed. Nissan Should be ashamed. Thanks Anderson Nissan, Asheville, NC.

Nissan in Silverdale, Washington - Designed and built faulty vehicle

nissan xterra was designed with a cooling system which failed and then allowed coolant to flow into and destroy the automatic transmission resulting in $5,000 in repairs wihich they refused to cover even though admitting that it was their design flaw that caused the problem. Beware of Nissan and their faulty vehicles. Knowing of the problem they could have notified their customers even if they were not going to pay for the neccessary corrections but refused to do even this, leaving customers in the dark about the design flaw. they claim customers were not notified because it was not a safety issue. I say it was a safety issue considering that having the transmission fail while pulling into traffic leaves one at great risk of being struck be another vehicle while being disabled.

Sneaky Nissan Employees!

Purchased a brand new nissan altima 2010 took it in for a knocking noise in the engine after two weeks and phone calls after phone calls they could not find what was wrong with it, they asked for 9000 to pull apart the engine and rebuild it, warrant wouldnt cover it for some reason. Told them i didnt have the money so they said I had to do a voluntary surrander on my car. I turned my car in to them since I didnt have any other choices, 5 months later they have a recall on the engine for the knocking noise. Filed a claim with BBB and now nissan claims theres no record of any phone call conversation between the service employee and myself and I am still responsible for the car. Even though they have it. I will never buy from them again.. I have purchased 3 nissan altimas and never had any problems with my other ones as well as had family members purchase from them as well. Cant trust them when it comes to money!

2006 Nissan Pathfinder Transmission Problems

We have a 06 pathfinder and just so happened that we have had it for 3 years now and it just turned 81,600 and now the transmission is out because of the *** radiator leakage into the transmission cooler line. We just got a letter 2 weeks ago from Nissan explaining this exact problem. Now they want me to pay $2500 for there faulty equipment and something they have known about. We have had this vehicle for 3 years and have always gotten letters from Nissan about all other sorts of ***. Funny how they never sent this letter out untill now. Car started jerking and roaring going down the road and heat quit working. Started to smell antifreeze to. Called in to nissan then anr they told my wife to go have the tires checked and reballenced. Didn't fix it. Now its 1600 miles over the 80, 000 and they want cover it. It was under the 80, 000 cap when she called and they ask for the mileage. They knew what the problem was then. Very pissed at Nissan and will never ever buy another Nissan product again. Sorry to all of yall. Donald T.

Bay Ridge Nissan

I purchased an infiniti from bay ridge nissan over a year ago and have been unable to get assistance (or follow up) refinancing even though that was initially used as an incentive to gain my business and obtain my $5000 deposit. The salesman Nicardo and bayridge staff put little value on my time, in which I drove 30 minutes to the dealership to fill out an application and have received no follow up to date (3 weeks later) irregardless to the fact that I have called several times. I will ensure that I use every social medium to enlighten others on the unscrupulous "used car salesman" antics taken place. I would be grateful if someone with any regard for customer service reads this message as I am still in need of resolve and would like to know my refinancing options. I will continue to peruse the different national nissan websites until I can find someone in management that will address my concerns.

Charged desposition fee when returning leased nissan

Charged $395.00 plus tax when returning leased car. Never explained disposition fee, also nissan sales people knew nothing of the fee . I might have purchased another nissan if I knew at time of purchase they would waive fee. I was told by Nissan Acceptance Corporation that it would of been waived after time of sale. What exactly is a disposition fee ? The term of the lease had expired and I made all payments on time. A representative at Nissan Acceptance Corporation explained it was for insuring and/or storing the car until it sells? Why after the lease has expired do I care what happens to the car !!
