2013 Nissan Pathfinder Transmission Failure

Same thing happened to my wife while driving my kids on the new vehicle with only 450 miles. Nissan claims the coolant hose came loose etc. etc. The incident happened on 1-20-13 and still I am without the vehicle we leased. The best part is that the second invoice showed up the other day and they are telling me that I am obligated to make the payment according to the terms of my lease. There is something wrong with these vehicles and Nissan has no clue what to do. We are working with corporate to get a replacement vehicle and if that ever actually happens I am fairly convinced that the same thing will happen to the replacement. I have no confidence in these vehicles at this point. Run don't walk away from this vehicle if you are looking at picking one up.

I thought I was doing a great deed as we're expecting a baby in June and decided to splash and get her a nice new car she feels safe in. so a week before christmas, spurred on by the ability to deal, I traded my great VW Touareg for the new 2013 Pathfinder. 4 days...

Nissan in South Bend, Indiana - Waited months to tell me I owe a missed payment

I received a Jan 2013 bill for nearly 2 times my regular payment. I called NMAC to see why and they informed me I missed a payment in August 2012! I was never previously notified of this! Then, to add insult to injury they have started calling me every few hours today and days before to ask when I can pay the late amount I owe! Give me a chance to pay it before you start the harassing calls please! I have been a good paying customer since 2008 and would appreciate the calls to stop and a chance to pay it!

Nissan - No info on Extended Warranty cost us thousands

The transmission on our 2008 Nissan Rogue went out at 84,000+ miles. Our mechanic replaced the transmission with a part from a Nissan dealer ($2111.00)and the job required $1100.00 in labor. After paying to have it fixed, we stumbled across www.nissanassist.com and found our car had an extended warranty to 120,000 miles. We had never been informed the warranty was extended. All attempts to have Nissan refund our expenses have failed. They say we are not due any customer goodwill as we did not take the vehicle to a dealer. We didn't know to take it to a dealer. We believed we were past our warranty. Nissan refuses to accept any responsibility for not notifying us. It is our fault we didn't take it to a dealer. Ridiculous logic. We even conceded that the mechanic fee might not be refundable but we wanted the $2111 back for the transmission. It was purchased from a Nissan dealer, they made money off us purchasing that part. Their parts mgr never once asked how many miles were on this car. I was told that wasn't his job. Apparently, just selling transmissions, under warranty or not, is his job. Nissan refuses to even refund the cost of the part. A part they knew could go bad, covered themselves with an extended warranty and not a recall (they would have had to let us know about a recall). Now, I can get emails and mailers from Nissan daily. Even a happy birthday email a month after my husband's birthday. But no info about an extended warranty? This is our 4th Nissan and I am really upset about losing $3500 in this process. But I'm more upset that I can't buy another Nissan in the future. I won't give them anymore of my money after this. I have told them this at corporate and they don't care either. Their customer service is deplorable and I won't give them anymore of my money.

My nightmare Nissan 2005

I AM A VERY DISAPPOINTED OWNER OF NISSAN MAXIMA 2005, IN FACT I AM A VERY BAD ADVERTISEMENT FOR NISSAN, THE CAR I BOUGHT IN 2005 BRAND NEW WITH MUCH ENTHUSIASM AND WAS VERY UPBEAT ABOUT IT, UNTIL WITHIN TWO YEARS STARTED HAVING NIGHTMARES, THERE WAS A TRANSMISSION PROBLEM FOR WHICH I SPENT ABOUT $4000.00, I ALSO NOTICED THAT THE EXHAUST PIPES WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO BE STEEL STARTED RUSTING, I THINK STEEL NEVER RUSTS SO IT MUST BE SOME CHEAP MATERIAL, I HAD TO CHANGE ALL MY 4 TIRES WHICH GOT WORN OUT IN A MATTER OF 2 YEARS, THEN THE ALTERNATORS HAD TO BE CHANGED, THE BATTERIES TOO HAD TO BE CHANGED AT LEAST 3 TIMES, WOW, I AM STILL HAVING THIS LIABILITY WAITING FOR IT TO STOP ONE MORE TIME AND JUST CALL THE JUNK YARD MEN TO TAKE IT AWAY AND DO WHATEVER THEY WANT WITH IT, I HOPE THEY DO NOT CHARGE ME THE TOWING CHARGES, BUT EVEN IF THEY DID, I WOULD PAY THE FINAL FUNERAL CHARGES FOR THIS NIGHTMARISH CAR, TRUST ME I HAVE A COUPLE OF MY FRIENDS AND THE PEOPLE WHO I KNOW HAVE SEEN WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH WITH THIS GREAT COMPANY I DON'T THINK THEY HAVE NISSAN BUT SOME OTHER BETTER COMPANY CARS OTHER THAN NISSAN, HOPE NISSAN MAKES GOOD CARS AND NOT SOME CHEAP STUFF AND SELL THEM AS CARS, LONG LIVE NISSAN, RIP

Nissan Would not pay for a recall loss

My 2009 Altima 2.5 had a problem with its catalytic converter and exhaust manifold that caused the inspection to fail. I had to have them both replaced at a cost of 1500.00 . Nissan would not reimburse me even after they put a recall out on the problem which was supposedly 1 month before the repairs were done. They said I should have received a letter notifying me of the recall. I since have had the car stall out and go into lock mode where I had to have my push button ignition replaced at the dealer for 750.00. This car only has 65,000 miles on it. Whats next!!!

The sunroof on my 2010 Murano has exploded twice in the past 6 months. Both times, the dealer refused to cover the repair and I pursued through my insurance company. In the summer, it exploded inward and in the winter it exploded outward. I can't help but think...

Nissan in Chesapeake, Virginia - Rims have crack lines under clear coat

Rims have crack lines under clear coat on all four factory wheels on my 2010 Nissan Frontier with only 16000 miles. Nissan customer service says it is environmental even though it has all-way been keep under a car port and never been driven in snow or salty roads. Nissan will not replace or repair the rims. The safety aspect of it all is if the rims were to get a real crack you could never see it do to the crack looking lines under the clear coat. This is clearly a factory defect in the way the clear coat was putt on.
