2013 Nissan Pathfinder Transmission

I leased the '13 Pathfinder, my first "new" vehicle in November '12. Within the first month I started experiencing what everyone is calling the "juddering" issue. It took 3 different times going into the service department because they told me they couldn't fix the issue unless I could replicate the problem. Finally on the 4th attempt it did it. I also had a faulty passenger side airbag that was a recall defect. Nissan is sticking with this is not a safety issue. I have researched online and what seems to be a nationwide common issue, if you continue to drive your vehicle with the judder it eventually just loses power while you're driving. How is that NOT a safety issue? I refused to take back my car until they fix it but I am still paying a hefty monthly payment for a $55k car that is useless to me. With all these numerous complaints of the same exact issue, why is Nissan not doing anything??? I will never buy a Nissan again.

Nissan - Miss DS Luies

My car a Nissan X trail went for service,in WITBANK at 60 000 km service and they put disc brakes in, on 75 000 they wanted me to do it again after it started shattering after they replaced my brake pads... I did tell them the oulet pipe is sucking air, and it is the same one as the year before, when i went to fetch my car GUESS WHAT IT WAS NOT DONE... Then said to bring it again so that they can replace the pipe, took it back and it takes them a whole day to do this... i think they have incompetent people working there...

Nissan in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - ECM & Manifold Catalyst failure = $ BIGTIME LOSS

Reside South of Austin, Texas....place named Buda. En-route to Oklahoma City, OK. towing a 16ft double axel trailer. Was visiting OK for a burn and turn to pick up communications equipment. 50 miles into OK my 04 Nissan Armada looses power, misses and I can detect some sort of exhaust leak at or near the manifold. I'm Stuck in no mans land or (BFE), in a state which has a minimum speed limit of 44mph. Luckily the Armada didn't shut down but would move @ a slow rate of speed (flat 31mph,downhill 44mph, uphill never mind. Long story short, had to rent a U-Haul to tow back this piece of *** @ $650.00....stay the night, $165.00....way behind schedule priceless. The vehicle is now with the mechanic and he's telling me bout $2500.00 in repairs. I cannot begin to describe how unhappy and ripped off I feel. I have yet to speak to any dealership yet due to finding this information today as well as being outside the manufactures warranty. Hey NISSAN, thanks for screwing over a disabled veteran on a very limited income. Other than these two issues the SUV operated wonderfully. Will I purchase Nissan again? *** No. Will I share my experience with others? Yep!

Will never buy nissan again!

I bought my rogue a year and a half ago. I still have the warranty and the extended one. 20 000 miles I like it so far. Just recently the button that releases the gear got stuck. I had it towed to Nissan. They told me I spill something on it and that’s why it got stuck. They charge me a $1.000 to fix it and it was not covered by the warranty. I was very upset I complaint to Nissan consumer and the dealer ship and it got me nowhere! This is my 5th brand new Nissan I bought I spend over 100.000 buying Nissan all this years and this is what I get! I ask them to help me or charge me half and the kept saying it was my fault. Its not about the money! Im getting ready to trade that in and I will never buy Nissan ever again even for free! Terrible customer loyalty!

Nissan in Rosenberg, Texas - Dangerous Vehicle Problem and Consumer Affairs Doesn't Care

I feel the need to tell everyone not to purchase a Nissan vehicle. Over the past year, the same part on my vehicle has broken twice. When the part fails, it causes a very dangerous situation: the car completely loses power WHILE DRIVING! This includes no power steering or braking. The first time, I was going 60 mpg and managed to get the car onto the sholder. The second time, I was going slower, but was on a very curvy stretch of road with poor visibility I was only able to get the car 3/4 of the way onto the shoulder. Both times my kids were with me. This part is not a cheap fix either: $800-$900. I found out a couple of months after paying for the first fix, that the part was under recall. The dealer knew nothing about the recall, but after speaking with Nissan Corporate Consumer Affairs, I was reimbursed for the part. The second time it broke (last week), the dealer again denied the part was under recall. I contacted Corporate again and was told my case was being referred to "the highest authority". When this person finally called me, she could not have sounded or acted more bored and uninterested in my problem or the obvious danger this situation put my family in. She told me that once a recalled part was fixed, they would not pay for a second fix. She had no explaination as to why the local dealer would be unaware of the recalls and was completely unfazed by my concern over the danger this posed to my family. I assured her that her attiutde and lack of helpfulness in finding a resolution to the problem with my car ensure that Nissan would not be receiving any brand loyalty from the Morgan family. There are many car companies out there and while I know none of them are perfect, I have to believe that at least one has more concern than Nissan about the reliability and safety of their vehicles.

Nissan in Charlotte, North Carolina - No call backs lack of communication

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima , I purchased the car in November. The tail light was broken and the fog lights didn't work. since November I have been up to the dealership got an oil change and spoken to my sales rep multiple times. they never put the "We Owe" in the system so I can get my car repaired. So now its time for another oil change again. I spoke to the customer service manager on a Thursday I explained my situation about what needed to be fixed, he offered his assistance to help me and stated he would return my call on friday, so I gave him time.I called him Friday around 3pm to get an update. he stated like he did thrusday there was nothing in the system showing the "WE OWE". He took my number again and stated he will call me back. So about 30mins later the service manager called me stated that they will fix the issues with my car and when did I want to bring my car in. we agreed to Monday morning at 730. I dropped my car off 3hrs later the rep that checked my car in called to let me know to fix my fog lights it would be $360. I let him know I was told my car would be fixed. So I went to the dealership. The sales agent and I had a disagreement about his role in this situation because if he would have put that info in my file we wouldn't be here fussing.. The customer service manager came out. He was very rude and disrespectful to me, cutting me off and basically calling me a liar that I never told him about my fog lights. which really upset me to the point I was yelling and cursing. my car was sit in the body shop. he threating to call the cops on me and all I wanted was my car fixed. he didn't communicate with me what he agreed to fix. And after I calmed down he comes in the office flashing a piece of paper saying "see I was trying to help you this was in your file we don't owe you nothing in repairs to your car. there was no favor when the repair was owed to me which was stated after I purchased my car. I was the bigger person and apologized to him for cursing him out. but I never got an apology from him he felt as if he was doing me a favor by paying for my oil change with was nothing. all I can say is that I will never purchase, refer anyone to get a car from south charlotte Nissan. the customer service manager doesn't deserve to have that role. he needs to step down and detail cars because his communication skills do not represent the company.
