Don't buy a Nissan Rogue or any one with a CVT transmission

I bought a 2010 Nissan Rogue about 14 months ago. I purchased the vehicle used, with about 23,000 miles. While going on vacation the tranmission went out in the car. We were driving up a hill and the rpm's topped out at 3,000. The transmission would not shift. Two days later the car stalled in the middle of an intersection. I then Googled my car and the transmission in it. CVT, is the type of transmission, and the complaints were numerous and similar to mine. I contacted Nissan and had the car towed in the closest dealer. I also contacted Nissan of North America to request assistance with a rental car since they did feel the need to provide me with a loaner. After the dealer kept my car for a week and 1 day they stated that they could find nothing wrong with my car. Only to receive a call 3 days later from Nissan North America telling me that my car was supposed to do that. It is something the transmission does to keep from overheating. Funny, thing the dealer didn't just tell me that when I called them. There service has been terrible, they have been anything but helpful and they really must think I am an ***. I will never purchase another Nissan again.

Brake cylinder recall Nissan sunny

I just got to to know that my vehicle Nissan sunny xv diesel is in the affected list of faulty brake cylinder an issue which surfaced almost 2 months back.Till date I have had no communication from any of the dealers. It was just by chance that I just checked on your website about this. I have travelled outside the state 3 times in the last 2 months with this condition which I was totally unaware of. I have endangered the lives of my family due to carelessness from Nissan India. I am going to court for this issue and ensure that the brand gets some sense of valuing customers lives. Nissan - A car to avoid

Ran out of gas while driving in the fast lane. The cars, gas gage cannot be seen in bright sunlight while wearing sun glasses, and cannot be seen safely while driving even w/o sun glases. The car I was driving had only 20 miles of driving left after the low fuel indicator started to fglash vivibly. The car is supposed to get better than 32 mpg highway, but mine ran out of gas after only 320 miles of driving. That's 27 mpg for the claimed 11.7 gallon tank. See the Car and Driver review here http://buyersguide.caranddriver.com/nissan/versa for an accurate description in other respects.

I purchased a 2013 Nissan Armada almost 4 weeks ago and took my first road trip this weekend. A lady behind me kept flashing her lights and honking her horn for me to pull over. I got to a safe place to pull over side the road to see what was wrong. She said my truck...

Nissan in Rochester, New York - Warranty issue

My 2010 altima hybrid had minor trouble starting (push-button start). One day, it took 45 minutes. Once it started, I took it directly to the dealer. The replaced a couple things, charged me $468 to do so. The car was less than two weeks out of warranty and had 18,000 miles on it. It's a known problem, according to the mechanic at the dealer (and various complaints on the net. Nissan refused to pay any portion of the repair. The dealer has listened to my complaint twice and hasn't called me back. Can you imagine? Two weeks out of warranty, a problem that started before the warranty expires, a known problem, and nothing. Next I go to the BBB, then small claims court, then the NHTSA, then I will really take to the internet. The whole thing stinks of bovine excrement.

Nissan - Air bag deployment for no reason

My 2010 Rogue's air bags deployed with no accident occurring. This company kept the vehicle for over a month before contacting me. The air bag coordinator, Brian, went on vacation before returning my numerous calls regarding this incident. Once I was contacted, I was informed that they were not liable. This is horrible and unspeakable relations from a company!! I will never deal with Nissan again, nor purchace one again!! The inconvenience that has been occurred from this has been surreal!! I have owned many Nissans; however, this is the last encounter with this poor excuse of a company. I am quite unhappy with Nissan!!!!

Nissan in Charlottesville, Virginia - Bad buisness poor services

My transmission already ruined due to crack in radiater leaking fluid into my transmission. They extend warrenty to 100,000. Miles for their faulty equipment. I am at 156,000. So i put my faith in buying a brand new car that i am not able to driveand it will cost $6,584. To fix which for a single mother it is not affordable, but yet still have to keep making my payments in this vehicale. What a scam and i will definetly never buy another nissan. My back windows can nor roll down and i have yo jump the battery every morning its a little cold for it to start. Really what good buisiness. This all should be recalled and i hope a class action lawsuit starts cause i am in.

Nissan navara 2004 engine blown

2004 model nissan navara d25 engine has blown without warning while ? was driving. it was at 114340 miles. there was no apparent problem. and ? read that this was a common problem. ?t happened to me today. the car was brought from uk to north cyprus. no services were missed and ? learned that it was due to some lack of quality in the bolts that were used related to the conrod. now ? have to find another engine and it is a really difficult problem to solve here. the engine block has been broken into pieces in a few seconds.
