Nissan Usa - Nissan Connect the Worst

1.0
Details
When we leased our 2016 Murano the salesman could not stop bragging about the "advanced" technology of the Nisson Connect feature. It is with out a doubt the biggest joke in automotive technology. The Pandora radio does not work. The iHeart radio does not work. The only app that works once in a while is Google search. Who needs that? The voice commands are virtually unusable. The phone connections are sporadic at best. Text message feature is a complete joke. The system message says my iPhone 7 will not connect to texting. Had I known how bad Nissan Connect was I would have never purchased this POS. I am now stuck with it for 3 years.

Nissan Canada - Very bad customer service

2.1
Details
My Murano 2016 has 3 problems: 1- In some cases the audio system can not be connected to Bluetooth devices/phones. The related option in Menu is inactive! 2- Most of the time, during a phone call with Bluetooth connection, the annoying and very loud whistles are coming from the speakers which lead to disconnect. 3- When listening to music via USB drive, the audio system freezes and you need to shot down the car to start it again. I reported them several times but the only response from Nissan is: "This is the same for all muranos and you need to wait until the resolution". It is almost 1 year that I bought the car, pay the monthly fees and still waiting. I have some videos of the failures which will be uploaded if necessary.

Nissan Murano Transfer Seal Leaks at 2000 km

3.5
Details
Recently purchased a brand new 2016 Nissan Murano and began to notice within the first 2000 km that on some occasions, after a longer trip there were oil spots on the garage floor. Took the car in for servicing and the dealer determined that there was a transfer case leak from the seal between the CVT and the transfer case. Nissan repaired the problem under warranty and I was told that only about 30% of the oil capacity was lost (I image this to be a conservative estimate). My concern is that some damage could have occurred to the transfer case components and if such a major issue occurred this early on, what other problems are going to appear. Not at all impressed with Nissan's quality control.
