Regional Acceptance - 0014816082

I fell on hard times back in the Summer on 2018. I wasn't able to keep my Nissan Altima 2013, I turned it back in July or August 2018. I wanted to know if I could get a letter stating that it was voluntarily sent back to your agency, to lexashdrew3@yahoo.com

I purchased a vehicle in April. I was at the dealership all day long because the saleman was trying to do as many sales as he could at one time instead of 1 customer at a time. The car I originally went to get sold the day after he sent me pictures of it and we had...

I have had Altimas ever since they first came out. This is my first problem. If Nissan knows there is a problem, why haven't they recalled for a fix? Unhappy!!! I would hoping to never have to buy another car, but now???!!! I have always bragged on the performance of...

Nissan Usa - Nissan does not stand behind its product disgruntled consumer!

My experience with Nissan consumer affairs has put me in a position to NEVER purchase any vehicle attached to the Nissan franchise. On December 31, 2013, I purchased a brand new Ulima. I LOVE my car. The reason why I did not buy from any other manufacturer was because I was told Nissan has a great customer service base. Three months after purchasing my car I noticed bubbling in my paint. I took it to the dealership and was told that the paper work was being processed. I was given the run around as the paint continued to get worse. In 2016 the individual I was working with was no longer at the dealership and I was informed that there was no written history of my complaint even though the paint issues was noticeable. I was told to start a dispute with consumer affairs, only to be told that I was out of my warranty and my request was denied. The paint is now peeling and bubbling. People see my car and cringe. I went back to the dealership and was directed to submit another claim. I dropped my car off at the dealership on August 13, 2017. T. McDowell, at Sheehy Nissan in Waldorf Maryland, was amazing. T. McDowell took pictures and had my car sent over to Complete Auto Body Shop for an estimate on repainting the car. Mrs. Oresanya from Nissan Consumer Affairs told me on August 22, that she is in charge of all decisions and the decision from 2016 stands. I have a letter from her stating that all steps were taken and all evidence was viewed in making the decision. This is false. No one from Nissan contacted the dealership to view the new pictures or read the Auto body shop report, that the service center felt was necessary to have completed. On August 23 I called to speak to someone in the CEO's office and was called back by Mrs. Oresanya, who left a message on my voice mail stating once again Nissan will not support my claim. All I want is for Nissan to stand by its product and repaint my car. Thank you, Shamarene-Layne Donato

Bought a 2013 Altima from Chacon in Dallas. Told the sales guy in the test run that the breaks sounded funny, he said it was my driving. Had to go get new brakes pad 2 month later. Come to find out the brakes pads on the front & rear was not the correct pads for that...

Nissan Usa - 2013 Nissan Altima Car Review from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

I purchased a 2013 used altima w/55k miles on it. Ran fine for 2 years however 20k miles later the transmission is starting to go. I guess ill try to dump it to a dealer before it fails completely, but better than paying $4k for a transmission in a car worth $8k, right? Kind of not in my nature to give someone else my problems, but better them than me (purely a business decision). I guess putting a faulty vehicle back into circulation is done all the time so shouldn't be a real problem. Guess it would only become a "real" issue IF another family with little ones would buy it & perhaps pays the ultimate price because the car stalls or decelerates going thru an intersection or on the highway. Its unfortunate the cvt issues haven't been resolved or backed up again like Nissan did in the past by extending the tranny warranty. Worse yet I fear for those family's that will be put in a situation as this & pray for the souls of those Nissan executives. As an mech. engineer myself, i couldn't imagine being responsible for someones untimely demise based on my engineering , production, or business decision. Shame Nissan & Jatco not taking full responsibility to do the right thing, but then again GM lived on thru killing a bunch a people. What a wonderful world! Guess God will sort em out. Anyway, since I don't think much will come of this, I'll just trade it in, perhaps for a Toyota.
