Verified ReviewerConfused on response for diagnosis
I took my Rogue in for service/diagnosis. Service claimed they did not hear the noise.
Its been over 3 mths to get a proper diagnosis. Mechanic heard the noise and assumed it was brake housing and charged me to replace it. Nope noise is still there and worse than before. So the manager of dealership told me come in to test drive with him so he could hear the noise.
He hear the noise and begins to tell me he don't know what the noise is and it could be something in the hatch making the noise or something inside the car when clearly the noise is coming from the tire. When you drive 0-10 mph you can hear thenoise in the back tire as it rolls. Then he suggests to get the Service manager to hear the noise and they come back and he tells me he don't know what to tell me but the problem can't be fixed. Then he tells me he can take all my money and charge me $125 an hour to diagnose the problem why would I pay for a diagnosis when you said you didn't know what the problem is in one sentence and in another sentence tell me it cant be fixed?
I still have yet to understand why I was told any of this non sense unless he just thought I had no money to fix it or he didn't want to fix nor deal with it at all.
So mind blowing how you can't get the service you deserve from dealership who builds these cars but don't know how to properly diagnose issues and then told the car can't be fixed when they have no idea what is wrong in the first place. Very unprofessional.
- Car can not be fixed if there is an issue
Preferred solution: Apology

Verified ReviewerGas smell getting into the interior of my new 2023 Nissan Rogue
My plan was to give my 2023 Rouge back to the dealer and walk away.
I explained that I could not handle the gas smell any longer and that it was affecting me and my passengers. I could not even park this is my garage because it smelled like i kicked over a gas can.
And that is not an exaggeration. They said there was nothing they could do to help me out. When I was leaving my sales guy said they told him to tell me they would look into this and get back with me. To my surprise they actually did get back to me.
They told me that Nissan had come up with a possible solution. I scheduled a service visit immediately. Hawk Nissan actually even came to my home picked up the car and dropped it off after the fix. I cannot tell you how elated I am.
I have drove my Rouge for 3 days and the gas smell is no longer a problem. I don't know if this fix will work for everyone but for all of you that have this problem call your dealer and tell them there should be some kind of hose to install to fix the gas smell.
I am so glad I don't have to get rid om my Rouge because we really like it. This was a miserable experience but it appears that everything is all good now.

Verified ReviewerUrgent Assistance Required: Nissan Intervention Needed to Resolve Warranty Matter
Dear Nissan,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to request Nissan's intervention and assistance in resolving a concerning issue I have encountered with my dealership regarding a warranty matter.
Approximately two weeks ago, while leaving my residence, I noticed a gradual loss of air pressure in one of the front tires as I maneuvered the vehicle.
Curiously, the tire maintained pressure when stationary but exhibited pressure loss when the car was in motion. Despite my diligent efforts, I was unable to identify any visible punctures, nails, or other external factors that might explain the issue, leading me to suspect a potential factory defect.
In response, I promptly contacted my dealership to request an investigation into the matter. Regrettably, they declined to address the issue without specifying any associated charges. The lack of transparency regarding potential costs left me in a difficult position.
In an attempt to find a resolution, I reached out to Firestone, the entity responsible for the tire warranty.
While it was acknowledged that they could not provide a complimentary replacement due to the tire not being originally purchased at a Firestone store, I chose to purchase a new tire. Additionally, I sought the opinion of a Firestone technician regarding the tire's condition. Although I did not receive formal documentation, the technician indicated that the tire indeed had a factory defect, emphasizing the need for me to initiate a warranty claim through Nissan via my dealership.
I duly communicated this information to my dealership, and they initially assured me that they would facilitate the process. However, they have since created unnecessary complications by insisting on servicing my entire vehicle, including the removal and reinstallation of tires, with an associated cost.
This approach is perplexing, given that my vehicle is virtually brand new, with only 500 miles on the odometer, and is primarily used for infrequent, long-distance trips. It is disheartening that they are not willing to simply assess the tire for defects and process the warranty claim on my behalf, as Firestone is already informed and prepared to cooperate.
I suspect that the dealership's sales and service departments may operate independently, leading to such discrepancies and inconveniences for customers like myself. This message serves as a formal complaint and an urgent request for resolution before I escalate the matter to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
I must express my lack of confidence in the shop manager's handling of the situation and my desire to closely monitor any actions taken on my vehicle to ensure transparency and prevent any potential fabrication of issues.
I hope for a swift and amicable resolution to this matter, as my experience has left me profoundly disappointed with Nissan. I have even begun contemplating the possibility of selling my vehicle, as if a relatively simple issue has proved this challenging, I worry about the implications of encountering more significant problems in the future.
Your prompt attention and assistance in this matter are greatly appreciated, and I trust that Nissan can help me navigate this situation to a satisfactory conclusion.
Sincerely,
Paul

OK, so my 2015 Nissan versa was totaled out so I purchased a 2007 Nissan altima I don't know what the problem is with these people. I think infinities are made by Nissan as well.
These cars are portly made.
They don't give enough leg room number one. The air conditioning always goes out on these cars. They were just made of origami. Material is ridiculous for the prices that they want for vehicles these days.
That they mass-produced and don't make the car's worth anything. The locks unlocked automatically. They unlocked what? I'm driving they unlocked when I put the car in park.
That's not good the world we live in today. I don't need my car unlocking when I put it in park. For some weirdo's, that's abducting. People for sex trafficking have access to me.
I'll be very conscientious of when that thing unlocks itself to lock it back. We've been having a heat wave air in my air conditioning goes out. I mean, what is going on? And then when I try to take it to the Nissan dealers.
They're telling me that they don't serve as Nissan's. That are 2007 best or cut off year. However, the guy that I purchased the vehicle from had a transmission. Put in it where he paid cash.
It was 3 to $4000. But they can't service a disabled woman's air conditioning for her To in addition, I have protect my car and a lot of dealerships aren't even participating in that when Chatham Nissan dealer in Savannah.
One of the service persons who's now retired recommended that warranty for me. And now they don't accept, that's just lovely. Then when I called them about my air.
They said that they were slow to pay. Sold therefore they would keep my car hostage until they got paid. What kind of business practices is this? Do the big people up in the glass?
Looking over the showroom, making all these money decisions. Are they on cocaine?
What is the problem I don't understand. Reconsider before you buy a nissan Buy toyota not nissan's
Preferred solution: My air conditioning Fixed and to accept my protect. My car warranty, this is ridiculous.

Disonest sales representative
I recently purhase a Brand New 2023 Rogue at Nissan (nissan at jeff wyler in Cincinnati, ohio)
I am happy with the vehicle but dissapointed with the disonesty and the sales team total lack of transparency (even at thr point to tampering with the surveys in exchange of perks that never came to fruition).
My wife and i felt that the sales rep took advantage about our desperate need for a new vehicle and said things that were not true until we got to signing all.of the paperwork (things such as additions that were already embeded into the price which were not.)
Even though i will not probably to go back to that Nissan when i trade my vehicle, sales reps should be better trained to.treat customers fairly and respectfully.
Thank you

Verified ReviewerCHARGEBACK UNAUTHORIZED PAYMENT
On October 6, 2022 my Xterra was released from Ruston Nissan of Portland, Oregon after delivery of the vehicle on or about July 18, 2022. Service was advised of the failing ignition and slow idle stall with certainty the ECM, Engine Control Module, was bad since a new engine was installed in November 2020.
Thereafter, Service extended diagnostics to determine in fact the ECM failed and allegedly replaced the old, defective component with a new ECM, but not until racking up extended hours of unnecessary diagnostics. Customer was advised to retrieve roadworthy vehicle and departed. No bank charge, Reward Points or Keys for the new ECM were issued to customer. Days later, Ruston Nissan of Portland charged $2,507.06 to Customer bank account without authorization.
Customer signature does not appear on charge receipt and awaits immediate back charge.

Verified ReviewerThe ‘Nissan Promise’ is ***
The Nissan promise is just not true. My new (one year old) Nissan Qashqai has been with Nissan for 11 days now.
It is undrivable (power steering failure), but because I managed to get it to the Nissan garage without calling Nissan Assist (I happened to be near the garage!) they have point blank refused to give me a courtesy car because I didnt follow procedure.
I am now renting a car from Hertz entirely at my own expense.
Not only will I never buy a Nissan again (obviously) I will actively be a negative marketer for all things Nissan for the rest of my life (obviously).
Well done Nissan, you saved a little money by stiffing me!
User's recommendation: Don’t deal with these people, they’re fundamentally not interested in customer service

Sorry you had that issue. I had the same treatment at Yonkers Nissan in Renton Wa.
Got hoodwinked into a vehicle I can barely afford.
Im thinking of just letting it be repossessed. Good luck
