I had to pay $1,447 to get my 2004 Quest through the emissions test in NH in March. I contacted Nissan in Japan which sent the complaint to TN. I was told they would do nothing since it had only 6 major issues (4 warrantable and 2 recalls). I was also told I shouldn't be upset since it was just a little bit over $1,000. Nissan must pay well at HQ in TN if their employees have this attitude.

72k miles and 6 major issues is normal = poor satisfaction. Japanese companies are world renowned for their fabulous customer service so I was quite shocked by the flip attitude.

Fortunately, I have a Toyota that runs much better. Based on my 6 major issues through 72k miles, if this is the norm, I won't be able to drive this Quest much longer.
