This correspondence is in reference to the abuse "NISSAN OF HUNTINGTON" will subject customers to in order to move a car.

My 86-year-old father and 81-year-old mother were in the market for a new car as the lease on their current Nissan Maxima was about to expire.

I went along to oversee things and make sure everything ran smoothly .

I know there are sales tactics used to move a car, but this went above and beyond reasonable measures.

The salesman negotiated on the wrong color (interior/exterior) car and the General Manager (Simon Israelian ) told my parents the color combo they wanted was only made with the navigation feature included. In short, hoping to push my parents into a car they had on the lot . When we were about to leave Simon "suddenly" located the exact car and color my parents were looking for. The time spent at the salesmanโ€™s desk was from 2:45 p.m. till 9:30 p.m. The short-staffed billing department also contributed to the exorbitant amount of time spent on this negotiation.

My parents were not made to feel at ease during this whole ordeal. My father felt nervous and was extremely cold . None of us had eaten any food the whole 7 hours. After we remarked about not eating all day, the salesman did offer to get some food brought in . At that point we just wanted to get this done and leave.

Simon wants to "keep us in the Nissan family." Well, that's not the way to treat anyone, let alone family.

I told Simon how abusive this was. His response, "Hey we pulled it out!"

Yeah, he pulled it out alright, and he somehow seemed proud of his lack of professionalism and common courtesy.

My parents have been loyal Nissan customers until now. This experience has changed their mind and mine, and we will be happy to share this experience with our friends.

Reason of review: abusive sales dept.

these days with the technologies, there is no reason we need any salesperson or the dealership systemes, it is the outdated regulations' fault. the existence dealership and sales have only one result that is what you have experienced.
