I started the car and smoke came out of the console then flames. I had the car towed to Staten Island nissan. After three days they told me to call my insurance co. I asked them what caused the fire and they don't know and it would cost 500.00 to find out. My insurance adjuster told nissan to proceed. We have a 2004 Murano that we keep at our cabin. Tho it is an 04 it only has 53000 miles. In just the last week the driver side visor started falling on it's own accord blocking the view of the road. Leather seat buckled after2 weeks. While driving down the highway Sunday July 21st around 9:40AM my moon roof imploded while being closed. Nothing had hit it before nor did I hit anything for it to implode. I have a 2008 Nissan Altima 3.5SE, I replaced the transmission less than a year ago at 135k miles, it was purchased new and directly from Nissan. My service engine light is on again and the dealership is claiming I need a new transmission and Nissan is refusing to cover it because it's over the 12k miles. I recently noticed in the last couple of months a few spots on my drivers door tape thinking it was just worn out tape on the top of the door. Manager at Kelly nissan was very rude to me on the phone. My plates and regerstration has not come to me he did not want to listen to me. I cannot trust him about them paying a ticket for expired tags when he did not want to listen to me on the phone. Very poor manager if you ask me please call me about this I might never buy a nissan again Add comment
