Failed transmission, radiator and issues with catalytic converter. ECM fail had to research to find recall! Nissan is dangerous to own, expensive to fix. Buy any other brand you can. Look up complaints against Nissan. No resolution for known issues! Add comment

Well, I just got off the phone with Megan in the Midwest customer service office for Nissan (615-725-7119) who told me my 2012 (purchased in 2013, new from the dealer) Nissan Armada Platinum didn't "qualify" for out of warranty help when my AC/Heat motor went out....with only 40,000 miles. I had the same problem with my 2004 Frontier...after the check engine light came on i took it to my nissan dealer and was told it would be $1250 to fix it....I sucked it up and paid it....3 days later the light came on again and they told me it was the other cat converter....I traded it for a 2012 Pathfinder and the dealer offered lifetime warranty as long as i owned the vehicle no matter how... There is a known defect in the transmission of the 2006 Nissan Xterra but they are still making me pay $3000. to have it fixed!!! The Regional Specialist lied to me and then hung up on me! I am the un-proud owner of a 2013 Nissan pathfinder, I have had the vehicle in the shop too many time. in the last 2 weeks the transmission went out, elec. keys stop working(2 times) and today the car lock up and I couldn't move it.
